Membership of the Discerning Eye Members’ Scheme, and submission of works to the ING Discerning Eye exhibition, is only open to artists born or resident in the UK. It costs £40 per year, which includes free submission for up to six works for selection in the exhibition in November. Of course, membership does not guarantee that your work will be chosen by a selector and hung in the exhibition, but for non-members the price of submitting six works in 2010 will be £54.

Membership runs on an annual basis from 1 January. To qualify for entering six works in the November exhibition, the membership form and cheque must be received by the Membership Secretary by:

There are NO facilities for joining as a Member when handing in your works, either at regional collection points or at the exhibition venue.

To apply, please print off and fill in the membership application form using the buttons below and return your remittance to the address given. If you are a UK taxpayer, please also complete the Gift Aid declaration. The forms are in PDF format (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print them).

Anyone purchasing a work at the exhibition is given a year's free membership of the Friends Scheme.
