To be exhibiting at the Mall Galleries gave her confidence a "tremendous boost" and when she learnt that ING also offered her a solo exhibition, she relished the chance to be able to show a substantial range of her work all together in one place. Some works from Susan's ING show ![]() ′Wooden Figures′ by Susan Angharad Williams ![]() Her exhibtion ran for 3 weeks in November last year in the 5th Floor space at ING's City offices where works from their extensve collection also hang. At the Private View on 30 October, Susan spoke of the impact of having the quality of her work recognised and how preparing for the show had given her work a "heightened sense of intensity and purpose". Her works were admired by all that evening and also by the bank's many visitors, who come to the 5th Floor to attend meetings, thus guaranteeing Susan's paintings and drawings wide exposure. Susan was also on hand at the Friends & Members' Private View at the 2008 Exhibition, demonstrating "The Art of Still Life" Copyright © 2002-2010 The Discerning Eye ~ Web site by Shepperton Software |
