newsletter archive newsletter 10 - autumn 2006 David Gluck (1) David Gluck's 'marvellous' victoryLongtime Discerning Eye supporter, former DE selector and member of the DE Educational Advisory Board, artist David Gluck has won this year's prestigious Singer & Freidlander/Sunday Times Watercolour Competition.  The subject of his beautiful winning watercolour is a view over to Petrognano, a village nestled amongst olive and cypress trees and vineyards in the lush speckled hills and valleys of Tuscany, close to the medieval borgo of Barberino Val d'Elsa.
