However, she is not unaccustomed to sectioning off a small area of her larger paintings to create a study, so she was able to rise to this challenge admirably.Her view of the small scale of the Discerning Eye paintings (they must be no bigger than 20 inches by 20 inches, including frame) was that such works 'are all little jewels'. She added that 'often one can go to galleries and see lots of little paintings and think 'Gosh, how boring.'
