The student sale: following on from our Artist in Residence project in 2001, Discerning Eye as part of the Arts & Business New Partners funded project mounted two sale exhibitions of works at the London Headquarters of our sponsors ING.

Under the title of 'Exhibiting for Mutual Benefit - Opportunities for Inspiring Artists and Discerning Collectors', the first event was for artists at work in three Colleges of Art and the second for five groups of artists working in Community Studios.

The Student Sale featured artists from University of Gloucestershire, Frink School of Figurative Sculpture and Wimbledon School of Art. The Studio Sale featured works from Core Arts, North Tynesides Arts Studio, South Tyneside Arts Studio, The Arts Studio - Sunderland and St John-at-Hackney Community Space Centre.
